Trust for Public Land’s Land&People magazine is a bi-yearly membership publication that highlights the parks, lands, trails, and schoolyards that make each community in the U.S. special.
This feature article that I created speaks to the community impact of a new park called Cook Park in Atlanta, GA. The color palette was inspired by the city of Atlanta with red, navy blue and black being prominent colors used in local sports teams. The collage elements and map schematics used as decorative flourishes help highlight the coming together of the community around the project and the historical nature of the site.
